API Documentation

Evaluate the real contract, not a promised SDK.

The live API contract

Use the live API documentation for request fields, authentication, errors and limits. There are no published Tanzim TypeScript, Python or Go SDKs claimed here; the Developers page provides HTTP examples.

Inspect a response

A matched description can return a merchant name, logo URL, category, subcategory, MCC and confidence. Inspect the actual response; missing fields and unmatched strings must be handled explicitly.

Keep credentials private

Use a test key for evaluation. Production applications should keep private API keys on their server rather than embedding them in a public website.

Plan the evaluation

Agree the transaction sample and reviewed merchant labels before measuring match coverage or accuracy. A confidence score describes one match, not the quality of the whole engine.
